Holly Sperou

Holly is a Paediatric Speech Pathologist with extensive experience working in the hospital and community settings. Holly specialises in assessing and managing infant and paediatric swallowing and feeding disorders. Holly spent a number of years working in a multidisciplinary tube feeding team, which included partaking in outpatient and intensive tube weaning. Holly is passionate about teaching children and their caregivers the skills required to become independent, happy, safe and successful at eating and drinking.

Holly has previously worked at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, with a portion of her time spent working in Cleft & Craniofacial South Australia. This involved assessing and working with individuals with cleft lip and/or palate, and craniofacial anomalies including craniosynostosis; from birth to adolescence.

Holly has worked with infants and children with a wide range of acute and chronic complex medical conditions, developmental delays and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Holly is an advocate for evidence-based, family centred practice. She is passionate about multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork to support her patients and encourages open discussion amongst the therapists on your child’s team to ensure they receive the best possible care.
