Fees
NDIS Participants

At Tongue in Cheek, we are able to see NDIS clients who are plan or self managed.

Our fees are in line with the current NDIS pricing guidelines of $193.99 per hour.

Initial assessments may take 60 - 90 minutes. We want to make sure that we get to know your little person and their needs as best as possible. Review appointments are usually 1 hour.

There is a travel fee associated with a mobile service. We endeavour to minimise this as best as possible by attempting to group multiple visits in the same area and splitting the cost.

The maximum amount charged for travel would be 40 minutes. Travel fee will be negotiated and agreed upon prior to your initial appointment.

Private Paying Clients

Check with your private health provider to see if you are able to access Speech Pathology on your child’s plan through their ‘Extras’. The rebate will vary depending on your level of private health cover.

You may be eligible for 5 Medicare subsidised sessions per year through a GP care plan (Chronic Disease Management Plan, or a GP Enhanced Primary Care Plan). Please talk with your GP if you are concerned about your child’s speech, language or feeding to see if they are eligible for a specialised plan to access Speech Pathology.

The cost for the session will be dependent on whether or not you require a report. The cost is also dependent on travel.

An initial assessment with a report may cost between $250-$300 (dependent on travel).

Following this, reviews will be $193.99/ hour.
